Frequently asked questions

How much does an 80 lb bag of concrete cover?

An 80 lb bag makes about 0.60 cubic feet: about 1.8 sq ft at 4 inches thick, or 3.6 sq ft at 2 inches.

Is it cheaper to buy 60 lb or 80 lb bags?

Compare the price per cubic foot: divide the bag price by its yield (0.45 ft³ for 60 lb, 0.60 ft³ for 80 lb). 80 lb bags usually work out slightly cheaper and need fewer trips, while 60 lb bags are easier to lift.
